Hey all,

I apologize, it's been a while without an update but I have some good news. I am working on the addition of a social networking area to the site, this will allow you to add friends through the site, build up a profile with your own photos and videos etc. It will be really cool should I manage to get it to work... So be sure to keep checking back for that, or just register and I will send out a mass email to all of you when it happens. I'm hoping in the next week!

In the mean time remember that you can add images to the gallery and should you have any requests or suggestions feel free to send them to: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Conor Oberst Solo Album Release : 5 May 2009

Bright Eyes founder and frontman Conor Oberst has a new solo album scheduled for release just next month. Many fans are hoping the album holds some of the sounds of the older Bright Eyes albums such as Digital Ash in a Digital Urn, Fevers and Mirrors and Letting Off The Happiness. The previous Bright Eyes album release was that of Cassadaga, which even though made it onto MTV with much acclaim many fans felt disappointing; Partially because Bright Eyes had finally broke through the underground and onto the mainstream table. I personally was disappointed in the release and it sounded very dull and emotionless compared to previous albums released by Bright Eyes. Unlike with most Bright Eyes albums where Conor tends to have numerous members of the band changing from tour to tour, his upcoming solo album is to consist of a somewhat consistant line-up. This has prompted the name "Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band". Let's hope that Conor will be incorporating a large majority of the old Bright Eyes sound in his solo album as opposed to the new sound Bright Eyes took up with Cassadaga. The album is titled 'Outer South' and consists of the following track listing :

  1. "Slowly (Oh So Slowly)"
  2. "To All The Lights In The Windows"
  3. "Big Black Nothing"
  4. "Air Mattress"
  5. "Cabbage Town"
  6. "Ten Women"
  7. "Difference Is Time"
  8. "Nikorette"
  9. "White Shoes"
  10. "Bloodline"
  11. "Spoiled"
  12. "Worldwide"
  13. "Roosevelt Room"
  14. "Eagle On A Pole"
  15. "I Got The Reason #2"
  16. "Snake Hill"

New Glassjaw Album?
Written by Administrator
Wednesday, 25 March 2009 12:30
Will the third Glassjaw album every be released? After 6 years without the release of a full length album, the rumours that post-hardcore band Glassjaw's new album was almost finished was recently snuffed out by a reliable source on glassjaw.net's forum. It was reported that the band had almost finished their third album and that only four songs still needed to be recorded, though as it turns out that rumor was far from the truth.

The truth is that apparently there is no big news regarding the possible third album and that the band infact only have four songs recorded "with vocals", and apparently even those songs are ones that the band have been performing live. Sad news it seems, as fans have been dying for the latest album for ages now. One can only hope that there is some magic going on behind the scenes and that we will see the new album released soon.
